Letter to Editor

The health care system currently is under siege by a bureaucracy that seeks to destroy our Constitutional Republic and the free market.

If the House of Reprehensibles vote to pass socialized health care, they will compound the current health care crisis, bankrupt the nation and destroy those liberties which still remain. In addition to the 2800 page health care legislation being unconstitutional, it promises the impossible. Government has shown its ineptitude in every area it controls, and it will devastate our health care system.

If government could solve problems through central planning and budgeting, the Soviet Union would be the sole surviving superpower; West Germany would have been taken in by East Germany; and North Korea would be the envy of South Korea. Government has no solutions, government is the problem.
